The Christmas baskets went very well with the community's support. We had 138 families to deliver food to. East Side Market is where we purchased the Ham and potatoes at a short notice, and they pulled thru for us. Alpha baking donated large amounts of bread. We had a large donation of Red Gold products. The School system gave a huge portion of foods along with the Post office and local institutions. The Mill Creek Lions helped us out tremendously. This is about a week long project and is always worth it. Without the help of the community, this would not be possible. A big Thanks to all!!!!!!!!

Spaghetti dinner was chaired by Dave Jandrisovits and Bob Wideman.  Again, surprise visitors were Senator Jim Arnold and State Representative Tom Dermody. Past District Governor of the Lions Club Margaret Verkkuilen was also present and we were  honored to have them at our dinner.

Our Summer project was the Rolling Prairie Lions "Harvest Bicycle Tour". There were 4 routes, 15, 32,50 and the 62 mile routes. We had 3 SAG stops, one in Mill Creek, another at the Hudson Lake Gazebo, and the Main one at Rolling Prairie Elementary school Gazebo. Our routes were color coded and marked clearly on the roads. We received some feedback from our experienced riders and will improve this ride for the following year. The Lions thanks our riders for supporting us and the Charitable Foundations. Lion personnel that helped were: Chairman Harold Russell, Co-chairman Gus Hernandez, Mike Hull, Bob Wideman, Dave Jandrisovits, Jim Blint, Ron Carriveall, Glen Swanson, Jerry Pysher , Paul Depoy, Dennis Hughes, Don Williams and his wife . Dawn Hernandez also helped us in patrolling in a SAG vehicle.

The Rolling Prairie Lions Pork Chop Dinner was last June. We had served 300 people. I hope that everyone has enjoyed themselves
